Senta Wilcox Tyler
1977-2020

Senta was born June 27 1977 in Provo Utah to JoAnn and Richard Wilcox.
She graduated Bingham High School in 1995 where she received the Sterling Scholar Award for art and received her BA at Utah State University in 1999 with a degree in graphic design.

Senta discovered a way to take her passion for art and creativity and channel it into a successful career designing scrapbook pages for Karen Foster, angels and nativity figurines for Kohls marketplace and Deseret Books, and spent many years as an accomplished freelance artist for an international design firm traveling the world several times a year but found a great affinity collaborating with Chinese manufactures and spent many hours overseas building her brand.

In 2012 Senta reconnected with her childhood friend, Adam Tyler, and together they rebuilt a relationship that had taken a 15 year break. They were married in 2016 and lived together in Stem, NC and currently Phoenix AZ where Adam works as a special education teacher. Together they adopted two special dogs Romeo and Walee.

Senta could never say no to a furry face and surrounded herself as often as possible with pets and animals. She is preceded in death by her very special fur babies, Muffy, Misty, Remy, and Chloe.

As the oldest of 4 children Senta often sent an example for her younger siblings. She was someone that they wanted to hang out with and she could make them feel very special whenever she included them. She had a great sense of humor and could light up any room she walked into. She never desired to be the center of attention but could never get away with hiding in the corner. At some point every person would find an excuse to get close to her and feel that special connection. She was one of the most empathetic and compassionate individuals that most of us would ever know.

Senta loved to spend her spare time sculpting, painting, drawing, and watching Jeopardy with her husband. She passed away on August 5th 2020 at the age of 43 from multiple organ failures complicated by Covid.

She is survived by her husband, Adam Michael Tyler;step daughter Whitney Rae Tyler, her parents, Richard Blaine Wilcox and Joann Bannon Wilcox; 3 younger brothers, Richard Bannon Wilcox, Dustin Wesley Wilcox, and Gregory Thomas Wilcox; 2 nephews, Parker Wilcox and Kohan Wilcox; and her God-twins Sophia Elizabeth Duncan and Scott Louis Duncan II

Due to Covid, services will be held only for immediate family at 9:30 am on Saturday August 15th. Those wishing to attend virtually may visit SentaTylerMemorial.com
