Roland Grace (6/4/30 - 11/13/20)

Celebrating the life and memory of our beloved Roland Grace, a free spirited man and father who lived his life on his own terms known for his unique sense of humor. Roland was one of ten children born in New Bedford Massachusetts to Lewis and Amelia Grace

In pure Roland fashion, Friday the 13th will always be remembered as the day he left us to be with his Maker...S...Mark...( those who knew him will understand)

Always a go getter, after serving 5 years during the Korean War from 1946 to 1951, he then went on to be a salesman selling women’s shoes at Switzers. From there he went to work for the United States Postal Service, working his way up to a supervisors position, later retiring in 1990.

Roland is survived by his sister Lorraine Hannah, brother Eddie Grace, and numerous children and grandchildren, some of which are pictured here celebrating his 90th Birthday this past June.

We will always miss your sense of humor and your slang way of making people laugh. BTW your famous T-shirts are back where you got them in case you’re looking for them, miss you already.

Condolences

"Roland was an usher in my parents, Eleanor and Clayton Lambert’s wedding. As well as my godfather. He was very kind to let my my live with him when dad needed him most. RIP Roland."

Patricia Lambert Clarey

"We will see him again; a little further down the road. Rest in peace, Uncle Roland."

Lewis J. Grace Jr.
