James Russell White, 77, of Fountain Hills, Az passed away the evening of Thursday, December 10,2020 with his wife and daughter by his side.

James and his twin Gerald were born in Williamsville, Illinois on May 22, 1943. The sons of Russell and Violet (Head) White.

Jim joined the Navy in 1964 and served 4 years on the aircraft carrier USS Hancock. In 1968 he stopped in Tucson to see his brother Larry and decided he loved the Arizona sunshine and stayed. Jim got a job with Mountain Bell as a resident installer, then business installer and retired with 27 years service as a contract manager. One of his favorite stories to tell was about his first year when the employees went on strike and and that's where he met his future wife Vicki on the picket line.

Jim enjoyed spending his free time in the garage doing many woodwork projects.

We are all going to miss his wonderful smile. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone that would listen.

Cremation services were provided by Angels Cremation and Burial in Mesa, Az. A memorial service will be held in the future at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
