Deborah Louise (Kuhn) Moser’s last breath was taken on Saturday June 3rd, 2023, at 1:45pm at her home surrounded by her family. Her (67) years of life began on May 13th, 1956, in Decatur Indiana. Deborah is the daughter of Orla L. Kuhn and Mary Jane (Brooks) Kuhn-Smith. Her father and stepmother; Carol (Reinhard) Burnfield- Kuhn survive in Bluffton, IN.

Brown & David Brooks., Sister-In-Law Kathy (Nussbaum) Anderson-Kuhn., Stepbrother James “Jim” Burnfield., Brother-In-Law David Wayne Haman., Nephew Ross James Kesceg., Niece Kelci Jane Haman.

Deborah graduated from South Adams High School - Berne Indiana in 1974. She then married her high school sweetheart Jeffrey Lee Moser on June 10th, 1975, with whom she had two children Jason Lee Moser and Jayla Lynn (Moser) Deems. In 1973 the L.J. Moser family of Berne, Indiana moved to Mesa, Arizona to fulfill the lifelong dream of Deborah’s in-laws, of owning a pizza restaurant, out west (L. J’s Pizza) of Mesa, Arizona. Deborah was a pillar behind the success of Mesa’s oldest family-owned pizza restaurant. (L. J.’s Patio Pizza) continues today under the ownership of her brother-in-law Clay Alan Moser of Mesa, AZ, of which Deborah worked alongside for many years.

Deborah took pride in her work, family & faith. She was an active member of the Valley View Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses of Mesa, Arizona in which she was baptized in 1982 and remained a faithful sister for 41 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, visiting family, training her Labradors but most of all Deborah’s true highlight of her life was being a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving: Her husband of 48 years, Jeffrey Lee Moser of Mesa, AZ, Father/Stepmother: Orla L (Carol) Kuhn of Bluffton, IN. Children: Jason (Jessica “Jess”) Moser of Mesa, AZ; Jayla (Michael) Deems of Delaware, Ohio. Grandchildren: Dylan Lee Moser, Danielle “Dani” Stacey Moser & Jacob Mathew Patton of Mesa, AZ.

Siblings: Rebecca (Glen) Agler of Evansville, IN., Steve (Kimmy) Kuhn of Geneva, IN., Micah (Vickie) Kuhn of Decatur, IN., Regina Sue Reed of Bella Vista, AR., Jennifer LeAnn Haman of Unionville, TN and Annette (Charles) Parr of Bluffton, IN. Deborah’s Message to her Siblings (As 2nd in charge) …. “Always Keep Laughing in My Memory.”

Aunts/Uncles: “second mother” beloved Wanda Nell Brown of Decatur, IN., Judy Nussbaum of Ft Wayne, IN & Kinsey (Suzy) Brooks of Berne, IN. Sister/Brother In-Law: Wendy Jo (Robert) Kesceg of Winnsboro, TX & Clay Alan Moser of Mesa, AZ and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services: Saturday, July 1st, 2023, at 1:00 pm – The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness (1025 S 24th St, Mesa Arizona 85204) Public visitation with the family from 12:00pm to time of services. Officiating Elder Douglas Hoyt.
