David McDonald Roberts of Scottsdale Arizona passed away peacefully in the arms of the Lord at a Hospice facility on 8/24/2023. Dave was diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer) in March of 2021 and was given 2 months to live in October of 2021, but he beat the odds and lived two years.

Originally from Pittsburgh PA, Dave was a diehard Steeler fan. He was passionate about music and would go to any length to add a song to his extensive catalog. He was an avid golfer & bowler. He retired after working at Fry’s for 10 years.

He will be remembered for his infectious smile, sincerity, generosity and loyalty to his family and friends. David loved people and never met a stranger. His family will always remember how difficult it was to get Dave to leave any event. For Dave, saying goodbye meant staying an extra hour while he “finished” his conversation. Dave was always the last person to leave a party.

Dave is survived by his wife of 36 years, Denise, sisters Mimi Shelago & Peggy Mick, son Michael Wilson, daughters Tracy O’Toole & Kimber Magee. He was blessed with 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
