Marve Scott Tallman, age 66, passed away in the comfort of his home next to his wife of 17 years, Carol Tallman, on February 16, 2024, after a hard, short battle with cancer.

Marve was born on April 26, 1957, to the late Nancy Callen & Richard Tallman in Rochester, NY. He is one of 4 siblings: Wanda Kline, Wade Tallman, and Mark Tallman. Marve’s parents moved him and his siblings to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1960.

After graduating from East High early in 1975, Marve began his over 40-year-long pipeline construction career until he and Carol started A Better Pool Care & Repair business in 2017.
Marve and Carol met in 2004 and married in 2006, combining a beautiful family of 8 children & their spouses. Late Shane Tallman, Scott Tallman, Brittney Anders, Marve C. Tallman, Jeremy Besaw, Jarrod Besaw, James Besaw, and Jordon Besaw. Marve had 11 amazing grandchildren: Jordan, Austin, Hailey, Jo, Brooklynn, Ava, Zoe, Collin, Olivia, Hadley and Grayson.

A good time described Marve in great lengths. He had the pleasure of traveling across the nation and visiting multiple countries enjoying fishing, hunting, golfing and relaxation. On top of these hobbies, Marve was a very skilled athlete. Growing up on the lake, he learned to water ski, wakeboard and was introduced to the AirChair style of skiing, mastering that as a skill as well. Snow skiing, motorcycles, dirtbikes, hunting, rodeos, Taekwondo - You name it, he did it. While Marve loved all these activities, his favorite pastime was golf. Marve’s favorite golf course was Stoneridge located in Prescott Valley, AZ.
