Michael T Bostick
11/10/1946 - 05/12/2026
San Tan Valley, AZ
Michael “Mike” Bostick, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. Mike was born on November 10, 1946, and lived a life marked by strength, loyalty, adventure, and deep love for his family and friends.
Mike proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he spent many years as a truck driver, traveling the roads through Nebraska, Texas, and many other states. Later in life, he served as a correctional officer in Arizona, where his toughness, strong work ethic, and sense of duty were well known.
Mike was the kind of man who never sat still for long. He loved disappearing into the wilderness in his Jeep to camp and fish, finding peace under open skies and far away from the noise of the world. He also rode his motorcycle across the United States, always chasing the next road and adventure. He was a tough guy with a huge heart — a longtime and loyal friend to many who knew they could always count on him.
Above all else, Mike loved his family. He was a devoted husband to Sandy Bostick and took great pride in helping raise two strong daughters who learned resilience, determination, and grit from him.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Bostick; his daughters, Lynne Jackson and Nicki Bostick; his grandchildren, April Rogers, Thomas Bostick, and Kaylynn Tremain; and his great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kyler, and Greyson. He is also survived by his sister, Robin; and his nieces, Roberta Rogers and Barbara Shade.
Mike’s life reflected the words of Scripture:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV)
A memorial service honoring Mike’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Angel's Cremation and Burials.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National League of POW/MIA Families.
Mike will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
