My loving bride Charlene Ann Redeker passed away peacefully at home on 20 July 2026 at 6:30 AM. Her beautiful eyes were smiling as the Lord called her home. She was proceeded in death by her parents Vern and June Ellingson, also of Mesa, AZ. She was 73 years young and left behind her brother Ralph Ellingson and his wife Marilyn from Republic, Washington. She has numerous nieces,nephews and cousins all of whom she loved dearly.

After marriage, thanks to the military, we had the chance to travel. Charlene and I visited the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland. We spent 22 years in West Virginia before the Lord returned us to Mesa, AZ.

Charlene loved the Lord dearly. She cherished her entire family deeply.. How could I, her family and friends be anything but grateful for the exceptional Christ centered life she shared with us. A special thanks to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and caregivers from Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and her hospice workers all of whom made her home going so seamless. A special heartfelt thanks to Chars’ cousin Cheryl
who spent hour after hour lovingly caring for Charlene before she passed.
