Oscar Galindo, 63, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026 at home with his wife and daughter.

A service will be held at Queen of Heaven in Mesa followed by a celebration of life at his home on September 25, 2026

Born on Williams Airforce Base, January 7 1963, Oscar spent his life making people laugh. He was loving, reliable, and was known to go out of his way to help someone in need. During his life he read a lot; he had a love for history, autobiographies, and comics like Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, and the Sunday funnies. He knew how serious life could be and would emphasize how important it was to take it day by day and to laugh whenever possible.

He is survived by his mother Elodia, his daughter Emma, his wife Katherine, his little dog Boop, his siblings Lydia, David, and Joel, and a small army of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and animals that all miss him dearly.

Oscar will be remembered for the love he brought to people’s lives. For all the late-night grocery runs, words of wisdom, and hugs with no judgment.

Friends and family are invited to the service at the cemetery. Please note it will be outside with limited seating.
