Stephanie D Cockrum
07/01/1961 - 10/11/2026
Gilbert , AZ
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephanie Cockrum, who left this world on October 11, 2026, at the age of 65.

Stephanie was born in Bakersfield, California, on July 1, 1961. She will be remembered as a mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend.

Stephanie is survived by her children, Jeremy Barrett and Misty Chaffee; her grandchildren, Breydon Smith, Nolan Chaffee, and Ethan Chaffee; her longtime partner, Andy Spencer; and her brother, Ken Cockrum.

Stephanie’s life was a journey filled with both beautiful moments and difficult seasons. Like many lives, hers was shaped by challenges, choices, and experiences that made her who she was. She was still a person with a story, a heart, and people who loved her. Her family will remember the moments of connection, the memories shared, and the pieces of her life that will always remain part of their own.

Stephanie will be laid to rest with her beloved daughter, Lindsay Barrett. Her family hopes to create a special place where Stephanie can find peace and where loved ones can gather to remember and honor both of them.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. For details and information, please reach out to the family.

May Stephanie rest peacefully, free from the struggles and pain she carried, and may the love, memories, and moments she shared continue to live on through those who knew her.

"I got know Stephanie pretty well when she came to stay with us for awhile in Colorado. She got to know my kids and grandkids (her cousins) pretty good, as well. This news is heartbreaking and I offer my condolences to the rest of the family."
