Mary Alice Kratz, age 69, passed away on February 19, 2015, with her family by her side. She is finally peaceful and pain-free after her struggle with cancer. Her beloved husband, Barry Lee Kratz, preceded her in death by only one short week. A joint celebration of their lives will be held in the future at their favorite place on earth, Echo Lake, PA.

Mary Alice was born on March 23, 1945 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She graduated from Duncan High School and earned a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from The University of Oklahoma. She enjoyed a successful career in the Manufacturing Information Systems arena before retiring in 1998.

Mary Alice passed with the same grace, strength and dignity with which she lived her life. Her legacy is one of strength and character that stands as an example for all that knew and loved her. Her lessons were taught through her actions and deeds on a daily basis. Her gentle wisdom and helpful spirit will be missed by so many.

Mary Alice is survived by her daughter Lisa (Hal) Looney and sons Phillip (Angie) Farmer and Jason (Elizabeth) Farmer, her step-daughters Barbara (Doug) Bader and Janet (Jon) Kubick, and her step-son Jeff (Melisa) Kratz, her grand-children Kathleen, Grant, Riley, Katie, Peyton, Presley, Kimmy, Jessie, Danny, Rachel and Ryan. She is further survived by her extended family and friends.
