Catherine Raney, formerly of Globe, passed away January 11, 2018 in Chandler, Arizona.
Cathy (aka Kitty) was born in Cooper, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Elizabeth Evan on December 22, 1940. The family moved to Chicago Il. where Cathy attended school until she married and moved away. She is preceded in death by two sons, Michael Raney and Joseph Raney. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters: Debbie (Thomas) Young, Judy (Dana) Butterworth and son: John Raney; 11 grandchildren: Amy, TJ, Kelly, Dawn, Jenny Vicky, Jeff, Kristen, Jerrica, Justin and Chris; and 10 great-grandchildren: CJ, Catie, Christian, Michael, Jeremy, Cheyanne, Kara, Alyssa, Abby and Ben. Brother: George (Arlene), Sisters: Frances, Betty (Paul), Caroline, and Barbara (Michael) and many nieces and nephews. Cathy lived in Globe for 42 years and worked as a waitress at Judy's Cookhouse until retirement. Services will be private.
