John Augustine Vasquez, 66, passed away on February 18, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona. John was born in Williams, Arizona. He lived mainly in Northern Arizona and the Phoenix Valley. He attended Flagstaff schools and studied at Northern Arizona University. Throughout his career, he worked in the banking business, mainly as a loan collection officer. He was involved in his Catholic faith and was an honorary member of the Legion of Mary at Saint Mary’s Parish. He was an avid reader of inspirational and religious books and wrote poetry. Also, he loved music, sports, and caring for his dogs. His daughter Tisha Dawn Partlow precedes him in death. Two children survive him. His children are Tara Vasquez of Gilbert Arizona and Anthony Vasquez, of Scottsdale Arizona. His surviving grandchildren are Stefan and Justin Partlow of Mesa, and Hadleigh Aufrichtig of Gilbert Arizona. Addison Partlow is his surviving great-granddaughter, of Mesa, Arizona. His mother, Rachel Vasquez, of Flagstaff and Chandler also survives him. His siblings are Dorothy Vasquez-Levy and David (Juanita) Vasquez of Chandler, Arizona. Memorial services are to be arranged by the family.
