Randy Eary of Mesa, AZ passed away where he wanted to be, in his home. He was 58 years old when he passed away on Thursday April 5, 2018 of chronic kidney disease. Born in Fremont, NE, he was a life long resident of Rockford, IL. Throughout his life, he did return to his birthplace and lived in Nebraska a few different times. He retired to Mesa, AZ after becoming disabled 2 years ago. Randy was an awesome brother, uncle and friend who had a big heart. He was a big Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He was thrilled to get to see the Cubs win the World Series in 2016. Randy loved classic rock and was a huge RUSH fan. He also loved his home town band Cheap Trick, among others. He enjoyed going to concerts and he got to see so many over the years, including the final RUSH concert tour in Phoenix. He enjoyed playing guitar and had a big interest in space and history. He was a CNC machinist and worked several years at Nissan Forklift in Marengo, Il and also at Rockford Seperators and Precision Masters both in Rockford.
Randy is survived by brother Dannie Eary of Omaha, Ne, brother Scott(Jan) Eary of Omaha, brother Dave(Nina) Eary of Omaha and sister Jackie Henderson(Chris Kirk) of Winnebago, Il. Nieces and nephews include: Jeremy, Jacob, Dacia, Josiah, Sammy Joy, Oliver and special niece who was dear to his heart-Gianna. Several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including life long friends who were like brothers to him- Chris Byes and Ronnie Boase. Preceded in death by sister Joy Byes, mother Virginia Williams, father Lavon Eary, maternal grandparents Clyde and Mellie Shaver and paternal grandparents Loyd and Ruby Eary. Randy’s wish was to be cremated with no service.He wanted a celebration of his life with a party, food and music. In light of his wishes there will be a memorial celebration held in his honor on Saturday May 12th at his brother Dave’s farmhouse- Waterloo, Nebraska 68069 starting at 12:30. All are invited to attend and come and have some pizza and beverages and share some memories of Randy. Memorials can be made to the family. Randy’s ulitimate last wish was to be shot into space. There is a place that he found that actually does this, so let’s help make this happen for him!
