Ronald (Ron) Rolf Johannis, 76, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Mesa, AZ. He was born on November 6, 1941 in Bay Shore, NY to O. Rolf Johannis and Drusilla Sullivan Johannis. Ron graduated from Smithtown High School in 1959 and proudly served in the United Stated Air Force for over 24 years.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bruce Johannis. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Darlene; daughter Kristie Castillo (Gino); son Steven Johannis (Heather); son Neal Johannis and ten grandchildren, Seth Fronzak, Eli Baynes, Shaye Castillo, Audrey Castillo, Stevie TurningRobe, Angel Cruz, Sienna, Alita, Ryklan Johannis and Kassandra Johannis; sister Darcy Scibetta (Michael) niece and nephews.

Friends are invited to join the family at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018 as he is honored for his military service and laid to rest.
