Walter James Pentland lll, age 73, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his residence on September 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Christine Pentland, his five children, Walter (Wally) Pentland IV, Kenneth (Kenny) Pentland, Anthony (Tony) Pentland, Andrew Pentland, and Karen Wofford, and his grandchildren, Quinto (Walter V) Pentland, Michael Pentland, Zebulin Pentland, Hunter Pentland, Ryder Wofford, and Avery Pentland. Walter spent a large portion of his life in a fulfilling career as a quality engineer. He was recognized and awarded for several of his ideas and contributions in his career. Walter was a loving and dedicated husband and father who would do anything for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those lives he was a part of. Walter will be dearly missed. Burial services will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at 10 am at the National Cemetery of Arizona.
