Frank Walter Scribbick Jr, 80, of Mesa and Dewey Arizona passed peacefully on Wednesday January 16th, 2019.
Frank was born on March 12th 1938 to Margaret and Frank Scribbick Sr in Pottsville, PA.
He attended Mount Saint Mary’s College and upon graduation joined the United States Air Force.
He married his beloved wife of 59 years, Jean Marie Winters on June 17th, 1960 in Harrisburg, PA.
Frank was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force for 28 years. After retiring from the Air Force, Frank thoroughly enjoyed his work at Marine World Africa USA, an animal theme park in Vallejo, California.
Frank was an intrepid traveler, tennis player and golfer and simply cherished being on the move.
Frank was also passionate about giving back and helping those in need.
Frank is preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank and Margaret Scribbick, and his brother, James Scribbick.
Frank is survived by his wife, Jean Scribbick, his sons and their spouses, Frank and Dee Dee Scribbick, Pat and Kimberly Scribbick, and daughter Eileen Scribbick. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Sean, Craig, Kevin, Tori, Jason, Aidan, Finn and Sine.
Plans are being made to honor Frank’s wishes and lay him to rest in a National Memorial Cemetery.
