Cynthia Louise Unruh Jones

Cynthia (Cindy) Jones passed away on Saturday, February 2nd at Friendship Village in Tempe, AZ. Cynthia was born on January 15, 1947, in McPherson, Ks, daughter of Louis and Shirley Miller Unruh. She graduated from McPherson High School in 1965. She married Richard E. Jones in 1970. He survives.
Cindy was co-owner of Elysium Dance Design in Tempe, where she was a dance instructor for the past 22 years.
Cindy is survived by her husband Richard of Tempe, AZ, her step son Dennis and wife Collette, grandchildren Amy and Kyle and great grand children of Kalispell, Montana, her brother Douglas and wife Kathie, nephew Phillip and wife Carla, and sister- in- law Pamela Unruh of McPherson, KS. Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Dave and Ruthann Thomas of Seneca SC, Fran DeWar, her friend and business partner and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her dancing family.
A special thanks to three very special care givers, for their love and support of Cindy these past few months, Fran DeWar, Ruthann Thomas and Cindy Leech.
A celebration of life will be held on February 17th from 1pm to 4 pm at Sunland Springs, 2240 S. Springwood, Mesa AZ.
