Nancy Lee “Lervaag” Plews passed away peacefully January 25, 2019 due to complications after an unexpected surgery. Nancy was born June 9, 1942 and raised in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. She was a 1960 graduate of Ballard High School.
On February 15, 1963 she married Kerry Alan Plews, also of Seattle, and they eventually moved to Auburn, WA, where they raised their three daughters.

Nancy worked in banking for many years, most notably at the Bank of Sumner. In 1999 Nancy and Kerry moved to Mesa, AZ to retire in the Arizona sunshine.

Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother and an especially doting grandmother to her three cherished grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lars and Jennie Lervaag of Seattle, and her daughter Kristen Hals of Tacoma, WA.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Kerry Plews; her daughters Stacy Plews and Heather Pigman (Phil) of Seattle; her three grandchildren Sam and Audrey Pigman of Seattle and Madison Hals of Queen Creek, AZ; her sister Ruth Lervaag of Glendale, AZ; her brother John Lervaag of Seattle and her sister-in-law Gwynn Swigart of Seattle.

A celebration of life will be held June 9th in the Seattle, WA area. Please contact the family directly for details.
